'BRAVE surfer John Nolan heads for the ice-cold sea — as snow hit Britain again yesterday. The dad of three, 38, said crossing a snowy beach was “surreal”. Surf school boss John, who was snapped in Druridge Bay, near Amble, Northumberland, added: “Surfing is addictive — and I’m not frightened of a bit of snow.”.' As reported in The Sun
Also in The Times 'John Nolan, an extreme surfer, defied the rigours of winter to brave the North Sea yesterday.'
And The Telegraph also reported: 'Extreme surfer John Nolan defies weather warnings and takes out his surfboard in the North East's snowy conditions, braving the harsh temperatures of the North Sea.'
