3 DAY Longboard SURF camps

Longboard / midlength surf camps for the beginner / intermediate / advanced
SURF/SUP/Coasteeer & stay
Surf at Cresswell, Druridge bay ( if NO surf we have SUP, Coasteering or Longboard SurfSkates ) & at our exclusive spot NORTHSIDE (Wee adventure to get to this spot, across a river and trek through sand dunes to reach this great surf location on the Northumberland Coast).
Meet & greet at 11:30 then 1st lesson starting 1pm – 4pm on the Friday. Then onto the lodge to check in and freshen up then go through the 1st video session before heading out for dinner ( drinks NOT included ) at local pub.
Saturday, cereal n toast at the lodge before heading out for our 2nd lesson 10am – 12:30, lunch at the cafe or fish n chips at The Harbour Fish Bar and warm up talking over the session with video feedback. Heading back out in the surf for a 3rd session 2:30pm – 5pm practicing what we have learned, then back to lodge 5:30pm freshen up & dinner at the Harbour Inn ( drinks NOT included ).
Sunday, cereal n toast at the lodge before heading out for our 4th session 9:30am – 12pm then back to freshen up before check out & heading home.
Suitable for all
3 Day Couses. Learn everything you need to know about Sea conditions, waves, rip currents, types of Surfboards to ride them on, to duck dives, turtle rolls & catching green face waves, turning, trimming, cross stepping on a longboaard for speed & stalling, from Beginner, intermediate to advanced manoeuvres. Surf mobility exercises, stretching & breath hold training
Also StandUpPaddle ( great for cross step training ) & SUPskate ( surfskate ) if no waves
SURF WITH US
Surf camps schedule ( alternative adventures if no surf )
- 11:30 - 12:30 - Meet n greet before heading to the beach for 1st lesson times are for Friday. ( Saturday & Sunday times are in the mornings )
- 1pm - 1:35am - Safety brief & Coaching demos on land.
- 1:35 - 4pm - Practice lying & trimming on your board ( 10 mins ) then for the popping up surfing on the waves, turning, catching green waves etc...
- 4pm - Change into warm clothes & time to check in at the Lodge from 4pm then for some video coaching before freshening up then dinner at 6pm ( Friday ).
